A single-herb liquid extract of dried herb of Sedum sarmentosum, cold-macerated in small batches and offered either as a traditional tincture in organic sugar-cane alcohol or as a vegetable glycerite.

About the plant

Chui pen cao is a small succulent stonecrop of rocks, walls and stream banks in China, Korea and Japan, growing in flat spreading mats. Its leaves are set in threes around the stem, fleshy and blunt, and the stems root wherever they touch, so a piece knocked off will grow. In early summer it carries flat sprays of small yellow star-shaped flowers. It is widely grown as a ground cover and a green roof plant.

No added sugar. Contains no artificial colours, preservatives or fragrances.

Suggested use

Shake well before use. Take 20–30 drops (about 1 ml, one full squeeze of the dropper bulb) in 2 oz of water or juice, up to 4 times daily, or as directed by a qualified healthcare practitioner.

Not for use in pregnancy. It may lower blood pressure.
